At least three people were confirmed dead Tuesday afternoon after gunmen shot dead a man known as 'Mackerel' and another man in the Spanish Town market, while multiple others were shot and injured.
On the same day, the police issued an advisory, telling residents to avoid Job Lane in the town as they processed a crime scene where two people were shot and injured.
Currently, sections of Spanish Town are under a 48-hour curfew which went into effect at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 14 and will remain in effect until Thursday, June 16.
