The deceased has been identified as Faye Desgoutte.
Reports are that Desgoutte was at her shop, where she also resides, when unknown assailants pounced upon her at about 5:20 pm.
She was shot multiple times including in the head.
The Half Way Tree police were summoned and Desgoutte was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead
