Jamaican Woman Shot Twice in The Head; Hitting Woman With Bicycle at Brooklyn Party

A 44-year-old Jamaica woman was shot dead by another woman at a party in Brooklyn, New York this morning after a party trick reportedly went wrong.

Dead is home health aid and party promoter, Tarcia ‘Tanney’ McLean-Lysius.

Reports from the New York Police Department, are about 5:00 this morning, McLean-Lysius was shot in the head twice at the event on Liberty Avenue in East New York.

She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in the police investigation.

In a video obtained, McLean-Lysius was seen riding a bicycle in the party.

Party goers say an argument developed between McLean-Lysius and her attacker after which she reportedly struck the woman with the bicycle.

According to party goers the altercation continued outside where the unidentified woman pulled a weapon and shot McLean-Lysius in the head.

McLean-Lysius has been in the United States for more than a decade.

She’s from the Parade Gardens community more popularly known as Southside in central Kingston.
